What data third parties share with us

We do not collect payment details ourselves, rather relying on externally audited, PCI compliant third party services.

Stripe

Stripe is a fully PCI DSS compliant payment processor.

Stripe provide us with a unique transaction reference for each payment made through their system on our behalf. This transaction reference can be matched with further transaction metadata held on Stripe's system (in accordance with PCI DSS).

We have integrated Stripe using "Stripe Elements" which means that at no point do payment card details touch our servers. When the payment form is submitted, these details are transmitted securely and directly to Stripe through your web browser.

Monzo

Monzo Bank Ltd. is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the PRA. When a bank transfer (through the Faster Payments Scheme) is made to our account, the metadata associated with this transaction is sent by Monzo to us.

We use the transaction reference from this payment metadata to match payments to gift pledges. We additionally store Monzo's unique transaction reference ID. We do not store any further personally identifiable material, including bank account numbers or sort codes, on our systems.
